Tulip Kids, provides quality Child care/Preschool, After School and Summer Camps via its six locations in South and East bay.
Our Directors have more than 15 years of combined experience caring for and teaching children in formal settings in the San Francisco Bay Area. Fulfilling the needs of families, a high level of parental satisfaction, and the efficacy of our programs have resulted in our amazing growth. Virtually all of our growth has come from “word of mouth” as parents tell other parents about us and children tell their friends about “the awesome place they go to after school”.
What sets us apart from other child care, schools, and enrichment centers is our dedication to nurturing "the whole child". We believe that children should be encouraged to learn as much as they can, and in order for them to enjoy learning, and therefore more likely to become life-long learners, it's our responsibility to make it fun for them.
We also pay special attention to the most up-to-date research-based educational practices, such as developing desirable 21st Century skills, including creative and logical problem solving, scientific literacy in an ever-changing world, effective collaboration and enhanced ability to communicate ideas.
All of our programs are carefully orchestrated to include scheduled time and space for explicitly taught lessons, independent choice learning projects, and fun group activities, in order for children to grow their development in all domains: cognitive, academic, physical, social, aesthetic, and emotional.
Additionally, school age children in our after school programs will receive expert assistance in homework completion.
See our "Programs" menu for more details about how these over-arching program characteristics are addressed in developmentally appropriate ways for each age group.

The best testimonials about our programs, however, come not from us, but from our parents. Here are a few of them:
The school is clean and you don't smell any artificial flagarents. class rooms are large and spacious. I like the fact that the main door is always locked and you can get in only via the access code. The staff are friendly and fun to talk to. The children also seem to like their teachers, no one appear to be sad at any time. The play area is spacious and protected as well, with plenty of sun exposure during day time.
I had initially put her in a montessori school, which she had a lot of issues adjusting to. I then moved her to Tulip. I could see the difference from the very first day. The staff is very flexible and understand and accommodate each childs needs. The environment, staff and food is almost home like.At the end of the day, she is happy and talking about her teachers and what she did at school, which is what really matters.
My 3 year old daughter goes to Tulip Kids Academy since September of this year. It is a wonderful school with very loving and caring teachers. The owner Deepti is very approachable, reasonable, and extremely helpful. I am very happy with the preschool program, the curriculum, the facilities, and the overall environment in the school.
My daughter started going to Tulip in November 2013. The staff is very helpful and they take really good care of all the kids. The school is clean and the classrooms are very spacious. Deepti (owner) is very nice and is always involved in the classrooms, which I appreciate a lot. They serve fresh warm lunches and the extended hours are a great plus.
I enrolled my 3 year old daughter in the preschool program in October 2013. She loves going to school and talks about her teacher, friends, and school activities all the time. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The school setting is spacious, clean, and organized. In general, I am very satisfied with the preschool.
I took my daughter here after having a terrible experience at KM2A. My daughter was traumatized by the previous place and initially had a difficult time trusting the staff. Mrs. Sanika is kind and persistent. She soon won my daughter over and her grades have improved.
The facility is clean and organized and age appropriate. It's a real joy knowing that my daughter is in competent hands and that her academic life is improving. Please give careful consideration to who you trust with your kid's future. It's a very important decision.
